Full-Time

Overview: </u></strong></span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;"><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Controls and Automation Service Technicians will be required to test, validate, maintain and troubleshoot complex building HVAC, lighting and monitoring systems and components. Typical components consist of Relays, Transducers, Sensors, Actuators, Automatic Dampers, Automatic Valves, Power Supplies, and so forth. Technicians should have a solid working knowledge of various system types including Pneumatic, Electric/Electronic, Digital and Analog, and Direct Digital Control (DDC). Technicians are expected to respond to various system manufacturer system service outages, operational failures or calibration adjustments, network failures and issues etc. Controls and Automation Service Technicians will also be part of an on-call rotation.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;"><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"><strong><u><span style="color:#333333;"><br/><br/>
Responsibilities: </span></u></strong></span></span></p> <ul> <li><span style="font-size:16px;"><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Advanced capabilities troubleshooting system failures and recommend and/or carry out corrective measures.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:16px;"><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Perform periodic maintenance and calibration on system components.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:16px;"><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Set-up and maintain system trend logs needed for diagnostics and repairs.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:16px;"><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Performing system database maintenance and back-up/restore functions as needed.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:16px;"><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Thorough working knowledge of sensor troubleshooting utilizing standard hand tools, DVM, and digital metering or calibration equipment (digital thermometer, hygrometer, etc.)</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:16px;"><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Advanced working knowledge of PCs and computer networking.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:16px;"><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings and schematics.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:16px;"><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Ability to interpret and implement complex written sequence of operations or other statement of system design intent.</span></span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;"><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"><strong><u><span style="color:#333333;">
