Full Time

Overview: This individual will be required to assist in day-to-day operations in the Tool Room. Duties include but are not limited to assisting with tool and equipment requisitions, checking tools in and returning them from projects, and restocking consumable supplies.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Check tools in and out to construction jobs via handheld scanner and/or PC</li> <li>Monitor tools and stock daily to ensure products are available when needed</li> <li>Return tools to the appropriate location upon inspection and maintain organizational standards</li> <li>Operate a forklift</li> <li>Identify and replace damaged barcodes</li> <li>Properly barcode new tools and provide relevant information for input into tool management software</li> <li>Assist with quarterly tool room inventories</li> <li>Load and unload tools onto trucks and/or trailers</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Maintain clean workspace through adherence to 5S principles.</li> <li>Submit time ticket weekly for approval</li> </ul>
Requirements: <p><strong>Required</strong></p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED</li> <li>Extremely reliable</li> <li>Excellent communication skills</li> <li>Basic computer skills</li> <li>Organization skills</li> <li>Willingness to work flexible hours; nights and weekends as needed</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience in the construction industry</li> <li>Ability to operate a forklift</li> <li>Tool and equipment maintenance experience</li> <li>Experience with basic construction tools and equipment</li> </ul> <br /> <p>Moving Safety Forward, our initiative for continuous improvements in our safety culture, reminds us that we are on a journey toward a zero-incident culture.
