Much of our Executive Leadership team, Operations Managers, and senior leaders started in the Co-op&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;program.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>The responsibilities and job skills learned are primarily dependent upon the individual Co-op's drive, determination, and ability to learn and function on a multi-disciplinary project team.&nbsp;&nbsp;A typical day can range from processing project documents, analyzing the drawings of some of the biggest projects coming to Atlanta, notifying, and coordinating with internal and external partners, and assisting our sheet metal and piping estimators with material and labor take offs.&nbsp;&nbsp;A successful Co-op will learn how to estimate projects and scopes of work, work directly with vendors and subcontractors, and support our operations groups both during the estimating phases and after job turnover.&nbsp;Experienced, successful Co-ops will have the opportunity to lead the entire bid process for a multi-million-dollar project, from the beginning stages to the final proposal, under the guidance a Sales Engineer. Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Co-Ops will work hand in hand with various Estimators and Sales Engineers to assist in all phases of the bid process.</li> <li>Co-Ops will coordinate with external vendors and subcontractors to solicit major material and equipment quotes for various jobs.</li> <li>Co-Ops will regularly manage and organize construction documents.</li> <li>Co-Ops will work with the Preconstruction team to review project drawings and specifications to develop estimates and proposals.</li> <li>Co-Ops will use our software tools to produce labor and material reports</li> <li>Co-Ops will contribute to Preconstruction technology initiatives, including using RPA&rsquo;s and capturing project data.</li> <li>Co-Ops will attend job site walks to track and measure estimate performance.</li> </ul> <br /><br />
Requirements: Candidates must be able to complete a minimum of 2 full-time, alternating co-op rotations in the office they are being hired for prior to their graduation. It is preferred to complete 3 rotations.
