Full Time

Overview: Duties include but are not limited to unloading trucks from outside vendors, loading trucks for delivery to job sites, determining where all material is to be stored inside the warehouse, and performing quality assurance check prior to trucks leaving the warehouse. Use of Warehouse Connect and Iphone apps for daily received, and shipping is required.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Loads and Ships material via McKenney&rsquo;s truck based on incoming truck tickets.</li> <li>Receives material from outside vendors in WHConnect via IPhone</li> <li>Removes inventory from WHConnect via Iphone</li> <li>Organizational work ethic to identify and label materials</li> <li>Stores material in an efficient manner</li> <li>Performs quality assurance checks on each delivery to ensure all material is loaded per the delivery ticket</li> <li>Loads inventory to be returned to vendors</li> <li>Responsible for assisting with maintaining a 5S score of 4.5 in the warehouse</li> <li>Logs hours spent on each job</li> <li>Operates a standup forklift</li> <li>Operates a Lull</li> <li>Assists with other functions if time allows</li> <li>Assists with job site deliveries as required</li> <li>Submits time ticket weekly</li> <li>Perform daily Safety Observations and submit Near Miss observations as applicable</li> <li>Cross-train and support Tool Room and trucking job responsibilities, as needed</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>High School diploma or GED</li> <li>At least 6 months of experience in shipping and receiving</li> <li>Ability to operate a forklift</li> <li>Basic computer skills</li> </ul> <br /><strong><u>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</u></strong> <ul> <li>Ability to operate a lull</li> <li>Experience in the construction industry</li> </ul> <br /><strong><u>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND CHARACTERISTICS</u></strong> <ul> <li>Extremely reliable and organized</li> <li>Excellent communication skills</li> <li>Strong customer service skills</li> <li>Willingness to work flexible hours</li> </ul> <br /><strong><u>WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:</u></strong> <ul> <li>Work involves moderate exposure to elements, such as hot/cold temperatures, dirt, dust, and/or loud noises.</li> <li>Work environment involves moderate exposure to construction warehouse hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.</li> <li>Strong physical effort.
