Overview: <p>As a&nbsp;Co-op, you will be part of the team from day one and given training and tasks that are important and impactful to our projects' success.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>Success in this role&nbsp;depends&nbsp;on the Co-op&rsquo;s&nbsp;initiative and teamwork. A successful Co-op&nbsp;will support estimating and operations, collaborate with vendors and subcontractors,&nbsp;and&nbsp;support the Field Foreman with customer needs through scheduling and site&nbsp;logistics&nbsp;management. A top achieving Co-op&nbsp;may gain the opportunity to manage projects from start to finish under a Project Manager&rsquo;s guidance.&nbsp;</p> <p>McKenney's has a long history of success in hiring Co-ops and supporting their evolution into industry leaders.&nbsp;Many of our current senior leaders began their journey in the Co-op program.&nbsp;</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li> <p>Work alongside Project Managers&nbsp;to manage the mechanical, plumbing, and/or&nbsp;controls&nbsp;construction of projects from start to finish&mdash;utilizing&nbsp;software, such as Revit, Bluebeam, Procore,&nbsp;and&nbsp;BIM 360. &nbsp;</p> </li> </ul> <ul> <li> <p>Coordinate with vendors to schedule and&nbsp;procure&nbsp;materials and equipment&nbsp;purchases&nbsp;for construction projects.&nbsp;</p> </li> </ul> <ul> <li> <p>Regularly&nbsp;update and&nbsp;project cost expenditures for the project&rsquo;s budgets.&nbsp;</p> </li> </ul> <ul> <li> <p>Plan with Project Managers and Field Foreman to hit major schedule milestones with the field crews onsite.&nbsp;</p> </li> </ul> <ul> <li> <p>Assist&nbsp;in the preconstruction phase of projects:&nbsp;gather quotes, perform take-offs, and help assemble estimates.&nbsp;</p> </li> </ul> <ul> <li> <p>Assist&nbsp;in obtaining necessary permits, submittals, and other documentation&nbsp;for projects.&nbsp;</p> </li> </ul> <ul> <li> <p>Regularly survey project sites for adherence to McKenney&rsquo;s safety, quality, and production values.&nbsp;</p> </li> </ul> <ul> <li> <p>Take on&nbsp;additional&nbsp;responsibilities&nbsp;each rotation&nbsp;while managing priorities.&nbsp;</p> </li> </ul>
