Do you want a challenging opportunity to use your construction safety&nbsp;skills?&nbsp;&nbsp;We are seeking someone with controls experience&nbsp;who is looking for next steps in their career as a Project Coordinator.&nbsp;&nbsp;We are&nbsp;a thriving company with over&nbsp;70&nbsp;years of exceptional service to the Southeast.&nbsp;The primary focus will be to act in support of existing ACS Project Managers and provide coordination in the areas of manpower allocation and support, material logistics, installation supervision, estimating and pricing, pre-construction reviews, and project documentation.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Estimating and budgeting</li> <li>Written proposals</li> <li>Marketing/sales</li> <li>Customer development and retention</li> <li>Planning and scheduling</li> <li>Cost control</li> <li>Ensuring quality and performance</li> <li>Timely invoicing of all work completed to date and conscientious follow-up on collection of money due to ensure positive cash flow</li> <li>Supervision of field crews</li> <li>Safety awareness, training, promotion</li> <li>Warranty administration</li> <li>Design coordination</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED</li> <li>One year of HVAC Mechanical or Controls experience</li> <li>Must have PC experience in Windows environments including a working knowledge of spreadsheets, e-mail, and Web-enabled applications</li> <li>Detail oriented</li> <li>Ability to multi-task</li> <li>Strong desire to provide excellent customer service</li> <li>High sense of urgency</li> <li>Highly motivated to achieve</li> <li>Good mechanical aptitude</li> <li>Must be a self-starter, with ability to work well as part of a team and independently</li> <li>Ability to use time productively, maximize efficiency, and meet challenging work goals</li> <li>Ability to maintain painstaking attention to detail while completing multiple or repetitive tasks</li> <li>Able to demonstrate a serious commitment to accuracy and quality while meeting goals or deadlines</li> <li>Ability to take on additional responsibilities as needed as well as determine and manage priorities with minimal guidance</li> <li>Must possess and maintain an exceptional work ethic, uphold company values, and demand the highest standard of conduct from self and others</li> <li>Must project a professional and polished image that inspires confidence and trust</li> </ul> <h5><strong>PREFERRED</strong></h5> <ul> <li>Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent</li> <li>Co-op or intern experience in this field</li> </ul>
