Overview: We&rsquo;re seeking a Staff Nurse (RN, LPN/LVN) to provide high-quality clinical care and support for residents in our Assisted Living and Memory Care communities. In this role, you&rsquo;ll assess resident health status, develop and update care plans, communicate with staff and families, and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards. Responsibilities: <br /> <ul> <li>Assess residents’ health upon admission and ongoing changes in condition, and develop or update individualized care plans</li> <li>Communicate resident needs and changes to the Director, Health and Wellness, staff, and families</li> <li>Participate in hands-on care and perform specific nursing tasks per residents’ care plans</li> <li>Train and support care staff to meet continuing education and competency requirements</li> <li>Transcribe and review physician orders; monitor medication administration and perform MAR reviews</li> <li>Ensure compliance with state, federal, and local regulations, including HIPAA, OSHA, and Bloodborne Pathogen Guidelines</li> <li>Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives and report issues to leadership</li> <li>Work safely and model safe practices for staff; correct unsafe actions as needed</li> <li>Foster teamwork, show initiative, and positively impact coworkers, residents, and visitors</li> <li>Report any elder maltreatment or abuse in accordance with policy</li> <li>Perform other duties as assigned</li> </ul> <br />
Requirements: <br /> <ul> <li>Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred</li> <li>Valid State Nursing License (RN or LPN/LVN); required certifications as mandated by state</li> <li>Minimum 1 year of nursing or caregiving experience, preferably in Assisted Living or Memory Care</li> <li>Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with human resource rules a plus</li> <li>Strong clinical assessment skills, conflict resolution, and problem-solving abilities</li> <li>Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills</li> <li>Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly</li> <li>Self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently</li> <li>Pleasant, professional, and personable demeanor</li> </ul> <br />
