Manager

Overview: <br />Supervise and manage&nbsp;all prerequisite programs: recall, calibrations and verification, regulatory documentation, allergens, sanitation, GMP, pest control and maintenance
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Create and maintain all NSF applicable SOP&rsquo;s, work instructions and forms for Quality, food safety, regulatory, laboratory and QC testing and auditing, or approve all other department NSF related documentation</li> <li>In charge of the Training Program. Train all employees on all quality and food safety related items as well as working knowledge</li> <li>Oversee all the testing inside the manufacturing facility. Ensure all incoming work in process, and finished product and environmental samples are tested per regulation. Ensure laboratory technicians meet production needs, maintaining proper flow of raw materials and finished product</li> <li>Lead the quality control team in building and culture of quality throughout the organization and incorporating quality in all functions</li> <li>Accomplish quality assurance human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orientating, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining Quality employees: communicating job expectations; planning monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing company policies and procedures. Define future state, set departmental goals, and communicate goals with staff, gain support and commitment.</li> <li>Investigate out of specifications, customer complaints, returns, concerns or issues; coordinate with manufacturing, R&amp;D, customer service and sales to evaluate and determine appropriate course of action.</li> <li>Ensure compliance with national international standard: FDA, NSF</li> <li>Manage&nbsp;Supplier /Quality Performance</li> <li>Manage Sanitation Team and evaluate performance based on environmental program</li> <li>Manage regulatory documentation based on international requests of product registration</li> <li></li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Microbiology, Biology, Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Science or related field of study</li> <li>Minimum 2 years&rsquo; experience in Quality Supervisory Role, Quality Engineer or related area in the Food Manufacturing industry is required. Managerial experience is a plus.</li> <li>Reports to Chief Operation Officer/General Manager</li> </ul>
