Overview: The Senior Employer Relations Officer manages the Career Center&rsquo;s employer outreach and engagement initiatives and is responsible for the delivery of employer relations programming and services.
Responsibilities: Employer Outreach and Engagement <br /> &bull; Develop and execute strategy to increase Calvin&rsquo;s brand awareness among domestic and international employers <br /> &bull; Leverage current professional network, establish new employer prospects, and maintain existing relationships <br /> &bull; Develop strategic partnerships with private sector, public sector, and nonprofit employers to facilitate partnerships and targeted opportunities for students <br /> &bull; Collaborate with Career Center team and internal stakeholders (i.e., Advancement, Academic Departments, Global Campus) <br /> &bull; Partner with Career Center Director and Alumni Relations team to create an Employer/Alumni Engagement model <br /> &bull; Create and oversee Employer Advisory Board and Sponsorship Program <br /> <br /> Employer Relations Operations <br /> &bull; Ensure Career Center staff are kept abreast of new employer relationships, internships, and full-time opportunities for students <br /> &bull; Partner with the Employer Relations Coordinator to ensure successful delivery of on-site employer recruiting operations <br /> &bull; Serve as the in-person contact with employers and assist employers in developing a campus recruitment strategy <br /> &bull; Establish annual metrics and goals to measure effectiveness in employer relations programming and partnerships <br /> &bull; Create and execute strategy to assess quality of employer sites, internship work, and conversion rates <br /> &bull; Develop strategy for collecting, analyzing, and presenting employer relations data <br /> &bull; Serve as expert for Career Center&rsquo;s relationship management platforms (Handshake and Salesforce)
Requirements: &bull; Bachelor&rsquo;s degree required; master&rsquo;s degree preferred <br /> &bull; 3-5 years of related experience and/or training. Experience in a corporate or university environment preferred <br /> &bull; Ability to leverage, create, and maintain new and existing professional networks <br /> &bull; Experience with business recruitment and program assessment/evaluation <br /> &bull; Knowledge of customer relationship management or applicant tracking systems <br /> &bull; Professional demeanor with excellent written and oral communication <br /> &bull; Ability to travel up to 30%+ required
