Overview: <p><strong>As an e-Projects Specialist with PNG Technologies, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of various software solutions and digital projects throughout PNG and further afield. You will work closely with different departments to identify needs and solutions, ensure project timelines and budgets are met, and provide training and support to end-users. You will report to the Strategy Manager for MAF Technologies and collaborate with other teams of specialists to deliver exceptional technology services.</strong></p> <p><strong>&nbsp;In this role, your expertise and attention to detail will be instrumental in helping us succeed in bringing help hope and healing to remote communities of great need. Responsibilities: <h3>Responsibilities</h3> <ul> <li> <p>Working with or leading agile teams to design, develop and implement technology based projects to bring help, hope and healing to remote communities.</p> </li> <li> <p>Being the technical lead for assigned projects.</p> </li> <li> <p>Stay current on e-Technology industry topics and trends, and determine how to best use them to meet the needs of remote communities as well as for improving efficiency and productivity within the organisation.</p> </li> <li> <p>Facilitating the researching and identifying appropriate resources that would be beneficial for training, reference or knowledge transfer in remote communities (eg via e-library, sd cards or other distribution methods).</p> </li> <li> <p>Provide advice and support to other MAF locations worldwide with regard to areas of expertise.</p> </li> <li> <p>Work closely with various project/program managers and departments to ensure project requirements are met.</p> </li> <li> <p>Provide real-time troubleshooting of technical issues.</p> </li> <li> <p>Develop detailed technical documentation for existing and upcoming systems, processes, and projects.</p> </li> <li> <p>Participating in monitoring the Radio Network and being proficient in handling emergency calls.</p> </li> <li> <p>Being involved/participating in the training and skill development of other staff and trainees within your areas of expertise.</p> </li> <li> <p>Identifying and making use of on the job learning opportunities for other staff during the project lifecycle.</p> </li> <li> <p>Mentoring and coaching other staff and trainees.</p> </li> </ul> <div>&nbsp;We are looking for a mature, even tempered team member who is able to develop and maintain good relationships with staff and clients.
