Overview: We are looking for someone who is reliable, organized and technically minded, with excellent technical and communication skills. <br />As part of the role, you will provide maintenance support as well as repairs to our aircraft and associated equipment. You will ensure that our team operates in accordance with successful safety practices and that our aircraft is maintained in accordance with all applicable regulations while contributing to a cost-efficient and safe environment. Present vacancies are in Africa, Eurasia, Indonesia, Latin America, Uganda ( avionics), Chad and Papua New Guinea
Responsibilities: Responsibilities<br /><br />&bull; Complete regular maintenance, inspections and repairs of aircraft and associated equipment.<br />&bull; Follow maintenance schedules to ensure that all aircraft are in-service and in-compliance with all applicable regulations.<br /><br />There may also be a need for you to assist in the maintenance and repair of aircraft in other programs (other than your normal location) for up to 10 weeks in any year.
Requirements: <p>In addition to the general requirements for all MAF overseas staff, consideration will be given to those applicants with &hellip;</p> <ul> <li>A Canadian Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License, a US A&amp;P mechanic&rsquo;s license,<br class="blank" />or a foreign equivalent</li> <li>A willingness to work cross-culturally, and to train others</li> <li>A willingness to upgrade their skills to stay current</li> <li>A desire to perform quality work in sometimes challenging circumstances</li> <li>Though not required, shop management skills would be considered an asset</li> </ul>
