Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Packages, labels, manufactures and distributes pharmaceuticals in all areas of the department including inpatient drug distribution, ambulatory services, sterile product preparation, and services to other departments.</li> <li>Reviews and monitors medications and orders written by clinicians to determine safety and efficacy, in addition to answering drug information questions.</li> <li>Other duties include inventory control, patient care area inspections, replenishing emergency boxes, and ensuring the safe and appropriate patient use of drugs, collection of clinical information.</li> <li>Performs other related duties and utilizes automated and computerized technology as required.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>High School diploma/GED.</li> <li>Enrolled as a full time student in an accredited school of pharmacy.</li> <li>Completed first professional year of pharmacy school. Is eligible to receive a NYS pharmacy intern permit.</li> </ul> <br /> <br />
