The practice of a PA shall include medical services within the education, training and experience of the physician assistant that are delegated by the supervising physician.<br /><br /><strong>PLEASE NOTE:</strong>&nbsp;This position is Monday &ndash; Friday, no Weekends. Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Under the auspices of Family Medicine, this position allows for seeing patients of all ages, and ability to perform minor procedures including wound debridement.&nbsp;</li> <li>As part of our exciting and diverse position within a dynamic program, the associate&rsquo;s responsibilities include preforming wound care consults, follow-up visits, and assisting physicians with bedside debridement&rsquo;s and bone biopsies in the inpatient setting.&nbsp;</li> <li>Our dynamic team also conducts nursing home rounds and participates in the teaching of residents, fellows and medical students.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Excellent growth opportunity for outpatient clinic coverage and as a provider in Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy.&nbsp;</li> <li>As a teaching hospital, our team is involved with the education of PAs, medical staff and interdisciplinary professionals regarding wound care&nbsp;issues. &nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Medical services rendered by physician assistants may include, but are not limited to, obtaining patient histories and performing physical examinations; ordering and/or performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures; formulating a diagnosis; developing and implementing a treatment plan; monitoring the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions; assisting at surgery; offering counseling and education to meet patient needs; making appropriate referrals.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> </ul>
