Responsibilities: The Interventional Cardiology Chief PA responsibilities include interviewing and training new PAs: general supervision of PAs, assisting in reviewing performance, assisting in the discipline of PAs, preparing work schedules; assisting with payroll; assisting in the development and implementation of policies and procedures; liaison between department staff; nursing units, referring physicians, house staff officers and secretarial staff; assisting with administrative issues for all department PAs, participating in leadership activities and training.&nbsp;<br /><br />
Requirements: <br /> <ul> <li>Bachelors degree required, Masters preferred</li> <li>Physician Assistant license by New York State and certified by the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).</li> <li>Graduate of an accredited PA program</li> <li>Cardiology experience preferred</li> <li>5 years of leadership experience as a Physician Assistant</li> <li>Able to travel between Moses and Weiler campuses, as needed</li> </ul> <br />
