Responsibilities: Assesses patients, develops and documents nursing care and discharge plans, and prepares and administers medications and interventions. Supervises nursing attendants and ancillary staff in patient care activities.<br /> <br /><br /> <br />
Requirements: <p>One (1) year of acute care RN experience is required; exceptional recent graduates will be considered<br />2 years of RN experience in Medical / Surgical, Telemetry, or Emergency Department experience preferred<br />New York State License for Registered Professional Nurse and current registration or valid permit to practice in New York State as an R.N.</p> <p>BSN Degree preferred<br />BLS/ACLS/PALS Training<br />Infection Control and Barrier Precaution<br />Certification in specialty preferred<br />Effective English communication skills, both written and oral<br />Ability to use basic data entry and retrieval systems</p> <br />
