Responsibilities: <ul> <li>The Licensed Practical Nurse actualizes the vision, mission, values, balanced score card performance measures for Montefiore Medical Center for Women&rsquo;s Health OB/GYN.</li> <li>The LPN participates in performance improvement/research activities; maintains professional practice, standards and clinical expertise; and demonstrates leadership skills.</li> <li>The LPN demonstrates core and unit specific competencies based on the patient population served.</li> <li>He/she is committed to maintaining the standards of the practice of nursing and is responsible for the delivery of care to the neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and/or elderly patient within their scope of practice.</li> <li>LPN is responsible for chaperoning, education, venipuncture panels, patient clinical flow, high level disinfection and maintenance, and other clinical duties as assigned within their scope of work.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <br />Please note: This position may travel to the other Women&rsquo;s Health OB/GYN locations within NYC and Westchester areas (Eastchester, Scarsdale, Bronx East, Kossuth, Hartsdale, Wakefield, Weiler and Moses campuses) as needed.<br /> <br /> <br />
Requirements: <ul> <li>High school diploma/ GED required.</li> <li>New York State License for Practical Nurse and current registration to practice as an LPN in New York State.</li> <li>One year experience in Women&rsquo;s Health OB/GYN preferred. Phlebotomy.</li> <li>Effective English communication skills, written, oral and interpersonal.</li> <li>Basic Life Support certification.</li> <li>Ability to use basic data entry and retrieval system.</li> </ul> <br />
