Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Assesses patients, develop, and documents nursing care and discharge plans, and prepares and administers medications and interventions.</li> <li>Directs patient care technicians and ancillary staff in patient care activities.</li> <li>Responsibilities include, but not limited to the care of the patient in the Invasive Cardiology Department EP Lab /Cardiac Cath Lab.</li> <li>Assesses, prepares, monitors, and treats patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures.&nbsp;</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>New York State License for Registered Professional Nurse and current registration or valid permit to practice in New York State as an R.N.</li> <li>BSN Degree preferred.</li> <li>Critical care experience required.</li> <li>High-level telemetry experience required.</li> <li>Cath/EP lab experience preferred.</li> <li>CCRN preferred.</li> <li>BLS and ACLS are required.</li> <li>Infection Control Training, Certification in specialty preferred.</li> <li>Effective English communication skills, both written and oral.</li> <li>Ability to use basic data entry and retrieval systems.</li> </ul> <br />
