Responsibilities: <ul> <li>The LPN Provides direct care for a specific patient population, administers medications and treatments, provides patient &amp; family teaching and discharge instructions.</li> <li>The LPN demonstrates core and unit specific competencies based on the patient population served.</li> <li>He/she is committed to maintaining the standards of the practice of nursing and is responsible for the delivery of care to the patients within their scope of practice.</li> <li>Incumbent will perform other duties as assigned.&nbsp;</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>New York State License for Practical Nurse and current registration to practice as an LPN in New York State.</li> <li>Basic Life Support</li> <li>Effective English communication skills, written, oral and interpersonal.</li> <li>Ability to use basic data entry and retrieval system.<br /> Additional education required by specialty areas/patient care locations. EKG&rsquo;s, blood drawing and point of care. Pediatric experience is preferred.</li> </ul> <br /> <br /> <br />
