Responsibilities: <ul> <li>The PA will provide direct patient care to a diverse population with a wide variety of diagnoses, in the areas of general pediatrics and pediatric subspecialties, as well as co-management of patients admitted for post-operative management.</li> <li>The PA will be responsible for clinically assessing patients, determining preliminary diagnoses, implementing management plans, performing tests and standard procedures (e.g. venipuncture, lumbar puncture, suture removal, etc), obtaining and interpreting diagnostic/radiologic testing and consults, and providing patient education and discharge counseling.</li> <li>The PA team works collaboratively with the pediatric resident teams.</li> <li>The PA will be a part of a growing quaternary care children&rsquo;s hospital focused on providing comprehensive, family-centered care to infants, children and adolescents.</li> <li>Work schedule: Three 12.5 hour night shifts per week (combination of weekdays and weekends)- 6pm-630a&nbsp;</li> </ul>
