Probationary period is four (4) months for full-time employees, and six (6) months for part-time employees.<br /><br /><br /><br /> Provides professional nursing care to assigned patients.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Assesses patients, develops and documents nursing care and discharge plans, and prepares and administers medications and interventions.</li> <li>Supervises nursing attendants and ancillary staff in patient care activities.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>New York State License for Registered Professional Nurse and current registration or valid permit to practice in New York State as an R.N.</li> <li>BSN Degree preferred.</li> <li>BLS/ACLS/PALS Training.</li> <li>Infection Control Training.</li> <li>Certification in specialty preferred.</li> <li>Effective English communication skills, both written and oral.</li> <li>Ability to use basic data entry and retrieval systems.</li> <li>At least 2 years of ED RN experience is required.</li> </ul> <br /><br />Montefiore Medical Center is an equal employment opportunity employer.
