Responsibilities: PAs perform exercise and tilt table testing, assist in electrophysiologic studies performed in the EP laboratory/OR, including insertion of temporary pacing catheters and intracardiac mapping, analysis of recordings made during electrophysiologic studies, orientation of the cardiology fellows to electrophysiologic studies, perform initial and follow-up history and physical exams on arrhythmia evaluation (EKGs, carotid sinus massage).
Requirements: <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED required.</li> <li>Coverage for both inpatient and outpatient sites of service as operationally necessary.</li> <li>3 years of clerical experience involving patient billing or an equivalent combination of training and experience.</li> <li>Certified by the National Commission of the Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA Physician Assistant License by New York State Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.</li> </ul> <br /><br /><br /><br />Montefiore Medical Center is an equal employment opportunity employer.
