Overview: <p>Allergist/The Division of Allergy and Immunology at Montefiore Medical Center</p> <p>The Division of Allergy and Immunology at Montefiore Medical Center is seeking an allergist at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor on the Clinician Educator or Physician Scientist/Investigator track.</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Responsibilities include outpatient activities at our Bronx and Westchester faculty practice sites, inpatient consultations at Montefiore-affiliated Hospitals, and the teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows.&nbsp;</li> <li>We seek applicants trained at an ACGME accredited Allergy &amp; Immunology program and board certified/ eligible in Allergy &amp; Immunology.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>We provide our patients with expert diagnoses and aggressive treatment approaches.</li> <li>Rather than simply treating symptoms, we identify the causes of allergies and then develop treatment plans tailored to a patient's individual allergy problem.</li> <li>Our experts regularly appear on year-end lists of the best physicians in the New York metropolitan area, and patients in need of specialized care are often referred to us by their primary care physicians.</li> </ul> <br /><br /><br /> <p>The position offers a competitive salary and an academic rank commensurate with experience.
