Overview: Under the direction of the Sr.&nbsp;Director&nbsp;of Cancer Clinical Research Administration, the&nbsp;<strong>Assistant&nbsp;Director&nbsp;of&nbsp;Finance&nbsp;</strong>is responsible for the development, coordination and submission of Medicare Coverage Analyses, clinical trial budgets; preparing detailed cost assessments for industry sponsored clinical trials and investigator-initialed studies, including studies support by foundations and grants.&nbsp;
Responsibilities: <div> <p>This position will collaborate with Program&nbsp;Directors to oversee clinical research billing compliance for oncology studies ensuring compliance with local, state and federal regulations. This position will be responsible for the reconciliation of clinical research accounts.&nbsp;</p> </div> <div> <p>&nbsp;</p> </div> <div> <p>This position will collaborate with the&nbsp;Assistant&nbsp;Director&nbsp;of Regulatory Affairs to monitor and track Time to Activation of study start-up. This position will interact on a regular basis with faculty, research nurses, study coordinators, departmental offices, outside sponsors, and other relevant staff.</p> </div>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Master's degree required in life science, public health, or business administration&nbsp;</li> <li> <p>Minimum of 5 years related work experience with clinical trial budget development and negotiations</p> </li> <li> <p>ACRP or SOCRA required within 24 months of employment&nbsp;</p> </li> <li> <p>Working knowledge of local, state, federal and international government codes/regulations related to the conduct of human subject research and CMS guidelines</p> </li> <li> <p>Extensive experience with CTMS and other clinical trial electronic systems (CTMS, EPIC, VELOS, COMPLION) are highly desirable</p> </li> <li> <p>Exceptional communication, analytical, presentation and time management skills</p> </li> </ul>
