The Registered Nurse actualizes the vision, mission, values, and balanced scorecard performance measures for Montefiore Medical Center.</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>The RN participates in performance improvement/research activities; maintains professional practice standards and clinical expertise; and demonstrates leadership skills.</li> <li>The RN demonstrates core and unit specific competencies based on the patient population served.</li> <li>The Registered Nurse contributes to the actualization of the philosophy and objectives of MMC and the Surgical Care Center.&nbsp;</li> <li>They are committed to maintaining the standards of the practice of nursing and are responsible for the coordination, implementation, and delivery of care to the patient.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><u>SCHEDULE:</u></strong>&nbsp;Per Diem. Hours vary.</p>
Requirements: <ul> <li>New York State Registered Professional License and current registration or valid permit to practice in New York State.&nbsp;</li> <li>BS/BSN Degree preferred.&nbsp;</li> <li>BLS required.&nbsp;</li> <li>ACLS required.</li> <li>Critical Care experience preferred.&nbsp;</li> <li>PACU/ASU experience preferred.</li> </ul>
