Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Assesses patients, develops, and documents nursing care and discharge plans, and prepares and administers medications and interventions.</li> <li>Directs&nbsp;patient care technicians&nbsp;and ancillary staff in patient care activities.</li> <li>Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the care of the patient in the Invasive Cardiology Department EP Lab/Cardiac Cath Lab. Assesses, prepares, monitors, and treats patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><u>SCHEDULE:</u></strong>&nbsp;11 AM- 11:30 PM. Evenings&nbsp;vary.</p>
Requirements: <ul> <li>New York State License for Registered Professional Nurse and current registration or valid permit to practice in New York State as an R.N.&nbsp;</li> <li>BSN Degree, preferred.&nbsp;</li> <li>Critical care experience required.</li> <li>Cath/EP&nbsp;lab experience, preferred.</li> <li>CCRN preferred.</li> <li>BLS and ACLS are required.</li> <li>Infection Control Training, Certification in specialty preferred.&nbsp;</li> <li>Effective English communication skills, both written and oral.&nbsp;</li> <li>Ability to use basic data entry and retrieval systems.</li> <li>Mandatory on-call.</li> </ul>
