Overview: <p>For positions that have only a rate listed, the displayed rate is the hiring rate but could be subject to change based on shift differential, experience, education or other relevant factors.<br /><br /></p> <p>Under the direction of a radiologist, the CT Technologist performs diagnostic <strong>Computed Tomography (CT)</strong> procedures using prescribed ionizing radiation. The technologist works independently, ensuring high-quality imaging, patient safety, and adherence to departmental protocols.</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Prepare and position patients for CT examinations.</li> <li>Enter and verify patient data in Epic.</li> <li>Select appropriate CT protocols and obtain diagnostic-quality images.</li> <li>Assist with CT-guided procedures and operate contrast injectors as needed.</li> <li>Place IV lines and prepares contrast.</li> <li>Process, label, and present images for radiologist interpretation.</li> <li>Maintain accurate procedural documentation.</li> <li>Follow radiation safety and infection control standards.</li> <li>Maintain cleanliness of CT work areas.</li> <li>Train students or staff as assigned.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent.</li> <li>Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.</li> <li>ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist (CT required per policy).</li> <li>Experience with CT systems and Epic preferred.</li> <li>Must meet Occupational Health requirements.</li> </ul>
