Overview: The Staff Nurse will provide professional nursing care to assigned patients. Assesses patients, develop, and documents nursing care and discharge plans, and prepares and administers medications and interventions.&nbsp;Directs&nbsp;patient care technicians&nbsp;and ancillary staff in patient care activities.<br /><br /> <p><strong><u>SCHEDULE:</u></strong>&nbsp;11 AM- 11:30 PM. Evenings vary.</p>
Responsibilities: Responsibilities include, but not limited to the care of the patient in all Invasive Cardiology Department EP Lab /Cardiac Cath Lab. Assesses, prepares, monitors, and treats patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures.&nbsp;
Requirements: <ul> <li> <p>New York State License for Registered Professional Nurse and current registration or valid permit to practice in New York State as an R.N.&nbsp;</p> </li> <li> <p>BSN Degree, preferred.&nbsp;</p> </li> <li> <p>Critical care experience required.</p> </li> <li> <p>Cath/EP&nbsp;lab experience, preferred.</p> </li> <li> <p>CCRN preferred.</p> </li> <li> <p>BLS and ACLS are required.</p> </li> <li> <p>Infection Control Training, Certification in specialty preferred.&nbsp;</p> </li> <li> <p>Effective English communication skills, both written and oral.&nbsp;</p> </li> <li> <p>Ability to use basic data entry and retrieval systems.</p> </li> <li> <p>Mandatory on-call.</p> </li> </ul> <br />
