Overview: <p>Montefiore Einstein Health System (MHS), comprised of more than 12 hospitals and a multitude of outpatient facilities, is a leading force in healthcare delivery throughout the Bronx and the Hudson Valley. &nbsp; &nbsp;</p> <p>We are seeking an energetic, enthusiastic and growth-minded FELLOWSHIP TRAINED TRAUMA ORTHOPAEDIC SURGEON to join our large faculty practice to help expand the reach of our trauma service to additional sites within the system.</p>
Responsibilities: <p>The trauma division embraces a team approach and currently has three members, busy with a high volume of operative upper and lower extremity fractures, periarticular injuries, and geriatric trauma and fragility fractures. There is a growing pelvic and acetabular fracture program, and a uniquely busy nonunion and limb deformity program. Call is shared broadly and averages to one day weekly.</p> <p>This is an academic position with affiliation with the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.&nbsp; The applicant is expected add to our educational mission teaching medical students and Orthopaedic residents, and contribute meaningfully to our research program.</p> <p>The department is within a supportive practice environment with significant potential for academic growth and advancement.</p>
