Responsibilities: <ul> <li>The Registered Nurse actualizes the vision, mission, values, balanced scorecard performance measures for Montefiore Medical Center.</li> <li>The RN participates in performance improvement/research activities; maintains professional practice standards and clinical expertise; and demonstrates leadership skills.</li> <li>The RN demonstrates core and unit specific competencies based on the patient population served.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><u>SCHEDULE:</u></strong>&nbsp;11 AM-11:30 PM. Evenings vary. Mandatory on-call requirement.</p>
Requirements: <ul> <li>New York State License for Registered Professional Nurse and current registration or valid permit to practice in New York State as an R.N.</li> <li>BSN Degree preferred.</li> <li>Basic Life Support Training.</li> <li>Infection Control Training.</li> <li>Certification in specialty preferred.</li> <li>Effective English communication skills, both written and oral.</li> <li>Ability to use basic data entry and retrieval systems.</li> </ul>
