Overview: <p>The Hematology Division of the Department of Oncology at Montefiore Medical Center and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine is seeking a candidate for full-time Clinical Hematologist / Clinical Researcher faculty position in our Division of Hematology at the Assistant or Associate Professor Level. &nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Our ideal candidate will have interests in the care and management of patients with thrombosis, bleeding disorders, autoimmune hematologic disorders, complementopathies, hemoglobinopathies, and general nonmalignant hematology. We are a large group of 8 classical Hematologists, with a funded Hemophilia Treatment Center and a Sickle Cell Center; we maintain a Women&rsquo;s Blood Disorders Clinic, a Thrombosis Program, an Immunohematology Program and an Iron Infusion Program. The candidate would be expected to participate in and develop their own clinical/epidemiologic research and/or clinical trials.</p>
Responsibilities: Working out of the Moses and Weiler campuses, the position includes clinical practice in inpatient and outpatient settings, teaching of medical students, residents and fellows. Call is approximately 1 weekend in 8 weeks. &nbsp;Academic rank will be commensurate with experience.&nbsp;
Requirements: <p>Candidates must have an M.D., be Board Certified in Hematology, and be eligible for a license to practice medicine in the State of New York. Visa sponsorship is available to qualified applicants. &nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>We offer a competitive salary starting at $250K commensurate with experience and academic rank and an excellent benefits package.
