Overview: <p>The Senior <span class="modified">Director/Co-</span>Director, Performance Informatics is responsible for leading the Data &amp; Analytics team in the Network Performance Group as well as leading interdepartmental efforts at the medical center and health system to enhance the ability to acquire and analyze data for quality/performance improvement efforts and provide expertise for the prioritization of quality topics where resources should be devoted.</p>
Responsibilities: <p>Includes, but is not limited to, contributing to strategic planning to improve Montefiore&rsquo;s ability to respond to external pay-for-performance programs&nbsp;as well as improve Montefiore&rsquo;s performance in public hospital rankings (e.g., CMS Hospital Quality Star Rating), setting performance goals for performance improvement, facilitating quality/performance improvement activities by serving as an expert in health policy and quality measurement, advising and assisting with the acquisition of data needed to support quality/performance improvement activities, providing quantitative/analytic expertise to gauge success with meeting quality/performance improvement goals, and serving as a lead executive, in partnership with MIT, in establishing a standardized data governance and reporting infrastructure via the new enterprise reporting standard, Power BI.</p>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Master's degree in Health Policy, Informatics, or other related healthcare field Required - PhD Preferred.</li> <li>10+ years of experience in Data and Analytics Required.</li> <li>Experience with AWS cloud computing implementation and performance required.</li> <li>Healthcare AI/LLM implementation strongly preferred.</li> <li>Leadership experience at a large academic medical center Required.</li> <li>Possess advanced training and experience in&nbsp;econometrics/statistics,&nbsp;data management, data reporting, and study design.</li> <li>Expert knowledge of federal and NY state health policy pertaining to quality and patient safety, quality measurement (QI) programs, and associated penalties/consequences and be able to operationalize this knowledge into tangible strategies and work products.</li> <li>Strong experience with quality measures and quality improvement methodologies.</li> <li>Ability to work with structured query language (SQL), PL/SQL desirable, and Oracle Developer or other related software.</li> <li>Experience with at least one statistical software package (e.g., SAS, Stata, R, etc.), but experience in more than one preferred.</li> <li>Experience with visualization software packages (e.g., Tableau, Web Intelligence, etc.).</li> <li>Knowledgeable&nbsp;about&nbsp;data&nbsp;warehousing,&nbsp;data&nbsp;models,&nbsp;and&nbsp;metadata.</li> <li>Experience partnering effectively across various levels of an organization (e.g., C-suite and other leaders, database engineers, business analysts, clinicians, etc.).</li> <li>Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally, as well as possess strong interpersonal skills.</li> <li>Strong project management skills required.</li> </ul> <br /><br />
