Overview: The Department of Radiology at Montefiore Health System is seeking a Per Diem Body Radiologist to provide remote weekend coverage for inpatient (IP) imaging services. This role supports weekend case volumes and offers a highly flexible, remote work arrangement.<br /><br />This opportunity is well-suited for radiologists seeking supplemental income, flexible scheduling, or part-time remote work, while remaining engaged in a high-acuity, academically driven environment.
Responsibilities: Schedule &amp; Compensation<br /> <ul> <li>Weekend-only coverage (Saturday and/or Sunday)</li> <li>Flexible shifts: 4&ndash;8 hours, scheduled at mutually agreed times</li> <li>Opportunity to extend hours based on availability and departmental needs</li> <li>Option to interpret outpatient (OP) cases in addition to inpatient workload</li> <li>Competitive hourly/per diem compensation, commensurate with experience</li> </ul> Clinical Responsibilities<br /> <ul> <li>Interpret a broad range of body imaging studies, including CT, MRI, ultrasound, and radiography</li> <li>Provide timely, high-quality reads for inpatient imaging, with optional outpatient coverage</li> <li>Maintain strong turnaround times, diagnostic accuracy, and documentation standards</li> <li>Participate in quality improvement activities as appropriate</li> </ul> Remote Work Environment<br /> <ul> <li>Fully supported teleradiology infrastructure with secure PACS/RIS access</li> <li>Dedicated IT onboarding and ongoing technical support</li> <li>Streamlined workflows designed for efficient remote interpretation</li> <li>Integration with clinical teams via secure communication platforms</li> </ul> <p>Practice Environment<br /><br />Montefiore Radiology serves a diverse and underserved patient population within a leading academic medical center.
