Overview: <p>Join a mission‑driven team improving the lives of children and families across the Bronx.</p> <p>University Behavioral Associates (UBA), part of Montefiore Medical Center, is seeking a skilled and motivated Data Analyst to support quality assurance and improvement efforts across several child welfare programs funded by NYC Administration for Children&rsquo;s Services (ACS). Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Building and maintaining systems that integrate clinical, operational, and administrative data</li> <li>Translating qualitative clinical information into measurable indicators</li> <li>Designing data collection tools, workflows, and dashboards</li> <li>Supporting clinical teams in applying assessment findings</li> <li>Creating clear data summaries and visualizations for leadership and frontline teams</li> <li>Conducting data validation and quality assurance (automated or manual)</li> <li>Training staff on documentation standards, reporting systems, and data best practices</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s required, Master&rsquo;s degree preferred in a related field</li> <li>1-3 years experience.</li> <li>Strong experience with Excel and Microsoft Office (advanced Excel skills needed; including PivotTables, Power Query, complex formulas, dashboards, conditional formatting, data validation)</li> <li>Familiarity with related programs/ tools such as SQL, PowerBI, Tableau, RedCap, PC‑SAS</li> <li>Solid understanding of database management and data visualization</li> <li>Knowledge of HIPAA, 42 CFR, and secure data‑handling practices</li> <li>A detail‑oriented mindset and a passion for improving systems that support vulnerable populations</li> </ul>
