Overview: <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Montefiore-Einstein is seeking qualified and dedicated physicians to work as Hospitalists. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, providing care for patients in the Emergency Department and the adjacent 12-bed inpatient unit known as the AU. The Hospitalists will be integral in managing and coordinating the care of patients, particularly &ldquo;Boarders&rdquo; awaiting bed assignments in the Inpatient Units. &nbsp;<br /><br />&nbsp;<br /><br />In addition to a competitive salary of $250,000, we offer productivity incentives and potential to moonlight. Responsibilities: <ul> <li>You will provide high-quality, evidence-based medical care to patients in the Emergency Department and the AU.</li> <li>You will work closely with Emergency Medicine physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.</li> <li>You will participate in ongoing training and educational programs related to Emergency Medicine practices.</li> <li>You will collaborate with other healthcare providers, including Nurses, specialists and support staff to ensure seamless patient care. &nbsp;</li> <li>You will also have the opportunity to participate in regular team meetings and contribute to QI initiatives and patient satisfaction surveys.</li> <li>Our ED Hospitalists will have shifts regularly scheduled at both Weiler and Moses (and potentially other sites depending on the needs of the department and expansion of the program).</li> <li>Hours are a mix of day and night shifts, 12 hours each. Total clinical hours per year is 1656.&nbsp;</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>The ideal candidate will be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine and be able to obtain a New York State Medical License. &nbsp;</li> <li>Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make timely decisions. &nbsp;</li> </ul>
