Overview: <p>Montefiore Medical Center is seeking an experienced Occupational Health professional to serve as <strong>Clinical Director, Occupational Health Services (OHS)</strong>.</p> <p>Reporting to the Assistant Vice President, Clinical Services, the Clinical Director serves as the senior clinical leader for Occupational Health Services across Montefiore's multi-site health system. The role is responsible for advancing clinical quality, workforce health, operational excellence, and regulatory compliance while supporting the health, safety, and workplace readiness of Montefiore associates, students, and affiliates.</p> <p>The Clinical Director leads a multidisciplinary team and partners with physician, operational, HR, Labor Relations, and executive stakeholders to deliver consistent, high-quality employee health services while driving continuous improvement across the organization.</p> <p><em><strong>Montefiore welcomes applications from experienced Occupational Health professionals with RN, NP, or Physician (MD/DO) credentials.<br /><br /><br /></strong></em></p> <div> <h4><strong>Compensation</strong></h4> <p>Salary range: $240,000-$300,000 annually.</p> <p>Final compensation will be determined based on clinical credentials, licensure, leadership experience, scope of responsibility, and overall qualifications. Responsibilities: <p><strong>Clinical Operations &amp; Program Leadership</strong></p> <ul> <li>Provide clinical and operational leadership for Occupational Health Services across multiple locations.</li> <li>Oversee the delivery and standardization of core programs, including employee health assessments, immunizations, return-to-work services, occupational injury management, exposure management, respirator fit testing, and medical accommodations.</li> <li>Monitor operational performance and implement improvements that enhance quality, efficiency, and workforce readiness.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Clinical Leadership &amp; Staff Development</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead, mentor, and support a multidisciplinary team of Occupational Health nurses, nurse practitioners, and other clinical staff.</li> <li>Serve as the department's primary clinical resource and promote consistent, evidence-based practice across all locations.</li> <li>Support staff development, training, competency assessment, and performance management.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Protocol Development, Quality &amp; Continuous Improvement</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead the development and refinement of clinical protocols, workflows, and best practices.</li> <li>Drive quality improvement initiatives that strengthen clinical outcomes, standardize care delivery, and improve the employee experience.</li> <li>Utilize data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and measure results.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Regulatory Compliance &amp; Clinical Governance</strong></p> <ul> <li>Ensure compliance with OSHA, CDC, New York State Department of Health, and other regulatory requirements.</li> <li>Oversee documentation standards, audit readiness, and organizational compliance efforts.</li> <li>Partner with physician leadership on complex clinical issues, escalation pathways, and evidence-based practice standards.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Strategic Partnership &amp; Stakeholder Engagement</strong></p> <ul> <li>Partner closely with operational, clinical, and executive leaders to align Occupational Health Services with organizational priorities.</li> <li>Collaborate with Human Resources, Labor Relations, Legal, Safety, Risk Management, and Infection Prevention on workforce health initiatives.</li> <li>Contribute to strategic planning, program development, and operational improvements across the health system.</li> </ul>
