Overview: <p>Overnight Academic Emergency Radiologist &ndash; 1 in 4 weeks - Remote and/or On-site&nbsp;</p> <p>Montefiore Medical Center | Department of Radiology</p> <br /><br />The Department of Radiology at Montefiore Medical Center is seeking an ABR-Certified or ABR-Eligible Radiologist to join its Emergency Radiology Division as a full-time faculty member.<br /><br />This unique academic opportunity offers a 7-on, 21-off overnight schedule, with nine-hour shifts providing Emergency Department coverage from anywhere in the United States. The successful candidate will work remotely as part of a collaborative team of attending radiologists and residents while contributing to the delivery of high-quality imaging care in a major academic medical center.<br /><br /><strong>Schedule &amp; Flexibility:</strong><br /><br /> <ul> <li>10-hour overnight shifts: 9:00 PM&ndash;7:00 AM EST</li> <li>7 nights on / 21 nights off</li> <li>Opportunity to extend shift hours based on availability and departmental needs</li> <li>Option to interpret outpatient and inpatient studies at competitive moonlighting rates</li> </ul> <br /><strong>Compensation:</strong><br /><br /> <ul> <li>$550,000 base salary</li> <li>Additional generous quarterly wRVU-based incentives</li> </ul>
Responsibilities: The Emergency Radiologist will primarily interpret imaging studies for the Emergency Department, including:<br /><br /> <ul> <li>CT (Body and Neuro), Ultrasound, Radiographs. Neuro MRI is a plus.</li> <li>Unconventional exams performed in the ED are given preliminary reads and subsequently read by subspecialists the next day.</li> </ul>
