Responsibilities: This position will serve as the strategic business owner for assigned non-clinical spend categories and supplier relationships. The Category Manager will develop and execute category strategies that align organizational&nbsp;objectives, operational requirements, supplier market dynamics, and financial goals. Working collaboratively with business leaders across Facilities, Human Resources, Finance, Construction, and other operational departments, this individual will drive contractual compliance, supplier performance, risk mitigation, value realization, and continuous improvement across Montefiore's non-clinical portfolio.&nbsp;The Category Manager will&nbsp;establish&nbsp;and manage strategic supplier relationships,&nbsp;utilizing&nbsp;performance metrics, business reviews, and market intelligence to improve service, reduce risk, and maximize value.&nbsp;
Requirements: <ul> <li>BS Science or Business Administration Degree&nbsp;Required - Masters Preferred</li> <li>Minimum of&nbsp;five&nbsp;(5) years&rsquo;&nbsp;contract management and/or property management experience with a focus on indirect spend&nbsp;Required</li> <li>Knowledgeable in Supply Chain Management&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Knowledge of ERP,&nbsp;Contract Management Software,&nbsp;Inventory Systems</li> <li>Knowledge of&nbsp;Healthcare&nbsp;indirect and non-clinical&nbsp;spend&nbsp;categories.</li> <li>Knowledge of&nbsp;Accounting&nbsp;principles, cost analysis, budgeting, forecasting, market and supplier research and analysis&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Understanding of market dynamics and business judgment</li> <li>MS office suite&nbsp;</li> <li>ERP and current supply chain information systems&nbsp;</li> <li>Contract Management Software&nbsp;</li> <li>EDI/GHX&nbsp;</li> <li>Inventory Management Software&nbsp;</li> </ul>
