Overview: Accountable for 24-hour management of the rehab program.&nbsp;&nbsp;
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Responsible for organizational planning, and the clinical rehab nursing practice which includes assessing, planning, implementing and supervising patient care and professional growth.&nbsp;</li> <li>Supervises 40-50 employees on day, evening and night shifts.</li> <li>Collaborates with other professional disciplines in developing and implementing clinical rehabilitation programs.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Progressive experience in clinical rehabilitation nursing and nursing management.&nbsp;</li> <li>Bachelor's degree in nursing required, Master's preferred.&nbsp;</li> <li>Certification in rehabilitation nursing (or obtained as soon as eligible).</li> <li>NYS license required.&nbsp;</li> <li>Strong clinical, leadership, and management skills; good interpersonal and interdisciplinary relationships; a high level of initiative and creative problem-solving ability.</li> <li>House Supervisor on weekends (once every eight weeks) and occasional holidays.</li> </ul>
