Overview: The Nurse Manager provides daily support and guidance to the nursing staff and is essential in order to continue in the redesign and adhere to our patient centered requirements.<br />
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Support a multi-specialty practice which includes internal medicine and specialty /subspecialty providers, including but not limited to Cardiology, Gastroenterology, OB/GYN and Urology.</li> <li>Oversee all clinical and administrative functions performed by the nursing staff to assure clinical and fiscal objectives are met.</li> <li>Ensure quality patient/family centered care are provided timely</li> <li>Patient/customer satisfaction issues are resolved timely</li> <li>Supervise, train and evaluate staff</li> <li>Acts as liaison between Montefiore Medical Group and Montefiore New Rochelle administrative and clinical departments.</li> <li>Development and implementation of policies and procedures according to evidence-based practice in accordance with regulatory standards and guidelines.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Master&rsquo;s degree preferred. Bachelor&rsquo;s degree required</li> <li>Valid NYS Nursing License</li> <li>Minimum of 5 years&rsquo; experience in a clinical environment, along with progressive leadership experience.</li> <li>BLS/Infection Control Certifications</li> </ul>
