Responsibilities: <ul> <li>The Medical Assistant supports a busy multi-specialty faculty practice office(s).</li> <li>The ideal candidate will have a proactive personality, can take initiative, is team oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment as well as travel to different practice sites during a week.</li> <li>The duties include but not limited to: Patient registration and scheduling, patient triage, assisting physician with patient exams, completing lab results and chart documentation, working on prescription orders with pharmacies.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>The successful candidate will have 1-2 years of experience (preferred).</li> <li>High school diploma or equivalent graduate of state approved medical assistant certificate program or 2 years' experience as a direct care provider in a related clinical setting or a combination of education and experience acceptable.</li> <li>EKG and Phlebotomy Certified.</li> </ul>
