Overview: For positions that have only a rate listed, the displayed rate is the hiring rate but could be subject to change based on shift differential, experience, education or other relevant factors.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Performs all required exams, ensuring high-quality patient care and adequate radiation protection at all times.&nbsp;</li> <li>Performs all general, invasive, and imaging processes and procedures involved in PET/CT utilizing technology that merges radiopharmaceutical imaging technology with other forms for medical imaging technology for diagnostic purposes.</li> <li>Operates Nuclear Medicine, Positron Emission Tomography (PET/CT) equipment.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li><strong>Education/Training</strong>: Satisfactory completion AMA approved school for Diagnostic Radiologic Technology. Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.</li> <li><strong>Experience</strong>: PET/CT experience required. Must possess a high degree of knowledge and understanding in services and technology.</li> <li><strong>Licensure, Registration or Certification</strong>: Must be licensed by New York State, and registered NMTCB and/or Nuclear ARRT. Must be BLS certified from the American Heart Association.</li> </ul> <br />
