Overview: <p>Remote position: 8am - 4pm EST M-F.</p> <p>The Clinical Documentation Integrity Specialist (CDIS) is responsible for improving the overall quality and completeness of clinical documentation.&nbsp;</p>
Responsibilities: <p>CDIS facilitates modifications to clinical documentation through concurrent interaction with physicians and other clinicians to ensure that documentation reflects complete and accurate level of service rendered to patients.</p>
Requirements: <p><strong>Education/Training:</strong>&nbsp;Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Nursing required. Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.</p> <p><strong>Experience:&nbsp;</strong>A minimum of 3 years acute care nursing experience required.&nbsp; ICU experience preferred. Minimum 2 years CDIS in acute care hospital.&nbsp; Epic and 3M 360 Experience preferred.&nbsp; Proficient in MS Office and MS Teams.&nbsp; Must be able to troubleshoot remote computer connectivity issues.</p> <p><strong>Licensure, Registration or Certification:&nbsp;</strong>Registered Nurse required.&nbsp; CDIS certification through ACDIS or AHIMA is required.</p>
