Overview: ** Per diem position with varied hours<br /><br />Perform all necessary " Pyxis" tasks, Direct and Wholesaler ordering. Supervises the tasks carried out by the pharmacy technicians &amp; messengers <br /><br /><br />
Responsibilities: Reviews all medication orders for its appropriateness, dispenses, prepares, and compounds accurately all medication orders including pediatric, neonatal &amp; chemotherapy preparations, counsel &amp; advise patients.
Requirements: <br /> <ul> <li>BS in Pharmacy Required</li> <li>1-2 years of hospital pharmacy experience Preferred</li> <li>Ability to read, write and communicate in English.</li> <li>Computer usage and key boarding skills are important.</li> <li>Pharmacist - New York State Board of Pharmacy / registration renewal Required</li> </ul> <br />
