Responsibilities: <ul> <li>The Obstetrical Surgical Technician performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care tasks under the direction of R.N., including but not limited to vital signs, assistance with personal care, surgical scrub and prep. &nbsp;</li> <li>Implements and plans equipment/instruments for patient care procedures.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li><strong>Education/Training:&nbsp;</strong>High School diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of medical terminology. Able to read, write and communicate in English. Completion of Certified Surgical Technician program.</li> <li><strong>Experience:</strong> One year of prior experience as PCA or Scrub Tech preferred.</li> <li><strong>Licensure, Registration or Certification: </strong>Surgical Technician Certification required within one year of employment.</li> </ul>
