Overview: <p>For positions that have only a rate listed, the displayed rate is the hiring rate but could be subject to change based on shift differential, experience, education or other rlevant factors.</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Under the direction of the Manager, Clinical Nutrition performs a variety of diet office tasks, which relate to the transfer of information concerning patient diets, meal selections, preferences and complaints.</li> <li>Complies with standards established by Hospital, regulatory agencies, and JCAHO.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>High School or GED Required.</li> <li>Food Service experience Preferred.</li> <li>Able to follow written directions and record information using high school level literacy skills.</li> <li>Visual and auditory acuity.</li> <li>Ability to read, write and communicate in English.</li> <li>Able to engage in strenuous physical labor including lifting up to 50 lbs. and climbing.</li> <li>Able to work outdoors in extremes of heat and cold.</li> <li>Some computer knowledge preferred.</li> <li>Ability to handle confidential information and to interface with Nursing staff, patients, and employees.</li> <li>Must have an understanding of weights and measures.</li> <li>Must be able to relay/follow written and verbal instructions.</li> <li>Visual and manual dexterity required.</li> </ul>
