Overview: <p><strong>This is a remote position!!!!</strong></p> <p>The Clinical Documentation Integrity Specialist (CDIS) is responsible for improving the overall quality and completeness of clinical documentation.</p>
Responsibilities: CDIS facilitates modifications to clinical documentation through concurrent interaction with physicians and other clinicians to ensure that documentation reflects complete a accurate level of service rendered to patients.
Requirements: <ul> <li><strong>Education/Training:</strong>&nbsp;Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Nursing required. Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.</li> <li><strong>Experience:&nbsp;</strong>A minimum of 3 years' acute care nursing experience required. ICU experience preferred. Minimum 2 years' CDIS in acute care hospital. Epic and 3M 360 Experience preferred. Proficient in MS Office and MS Teams. Must be able to troubleshoot remote computer connectivity issues.</li> <li><strong>Licensure, Registration or Certification:&nbsp;</strong>Registered Nurse required. CDIS certification through ACDIS or AHIMA required.</li> </ul>
