Overview: <p>For positions that have only a rate listed, the displayed rate is the hiring rate but could be subject to change based on shift differential, experience, education or other relevant factors.</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Under the direction of the Chief Dietitian is responsible for all dietary needs for patients on assigned unit/s, including assembly and delivery of patient meals during scheduled shift.</li> <li>Performs a variety of clerical tasks which relate to the tracking of information concerning patient diets, meal selections, preferences and complaints.</li> <li>Complies with standards established by Hospital, regulatory agencies, and JC.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <strong>Education/Training</strong>: <br /><br /> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent required.</li> <li>Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.</li> </ul> <br /><strong>Experience:<br /><br /></strong> <ul> <li>Prior customer service and/or food industry experience preferred.</li> <li>Basic computer skills and work with Windows-type operating system required.</li> <li>Ability to handle confidential information.</li> <li>Strong customer service and interpersonal skills to interact positively with nursing staff, patients, families, and other employees.</li> <li>Must have an understanding of weights and measures.</li> <li>Must be able to relay/follow written and verbal instructions in English.</li> </ul>
