Overview: Under the direction of the AVP, Quality Management/PI, formulates and conducts evaluations to identify, improve patient care processes impacting on patient outcome/satisfaction.

Requirements: <p><strong>Education/Training: </strong>Degree in Nursing. Bachelor&rsquo;s degree, required.&nbsp; Ability to read, write and communicate in English.</p> <p><strong>Experience:&nbsp; </strong>One year of experience in health care evaluation, health information or healthcare quality <u>preferred</u>.&nbsp; Equivalent related experience may be substituted.&nbsp; Excellent oral/written skills and problem-solving abilities. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) is required. Experience with performance improvement of project management tools, preferred.</p> <p>Emergency Room clinical experience, minimum 2 years preferred.</p> <p><strong>Licensure, Registration or Certification: </strong>NYS Nursing License required. Certified Professional in HealthCare Quality (CPHQ) and/or certification in project management (e.g. PMP, IHI, Six Sigma) preferred.</p>
