Overview: <p>For positions that have only a rate listed, the displayed rate is the hiring rate but could be subject to change based on shift differential, experience, education or other relevant factors.<br /><br />The Data Support Specialist is responsible for the hands-on collection, validation, and quality assurance of data, as well as the implementation and maintenance of standardized data management and reporting processes.</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>This role supports accurate, reliable, and timely analyses for both recurring and ad hoc reporting needs across the organization.</li> <li>The incumbent will respond to analytical requests, develop reporting solutions, and identify opportunities to enhance the organization's short-term and long-term financial performance. Also responsible for gathering and consolidating information from multiple sources, ensuring data integrity and consistency, and maintaining data within internal Pillar reporting systems.</li> <li>Prepares analysis-ready datasets, resolves data-related issues, and supports operational and financial decision-making through accurate and meaningful reporting.</li> <li>This role collaborates closely with physicians, department leaders, Finance, Operations, and other stakeholders to facilitate effective communication, support data-driven initiatives, and ensure the timely achievement of organizational objectives.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Associate Degree in business, accounting, or similar required.</li> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree preferred.</li> <li>Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.</li> <li>Minimum of three years of healthcare data analytics experience required.</li> <li>Must be proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced skills required for Excel.</li> <li>Strong communication and organization skills required.</li> <li>Must be detail oriented and able to meet internal deadlines.</li> <li>Must possess a strong understanding of the key business and financial drivers that influence healthcare performance, as well as the market dynamics affecting MSLC.</li> </ul>
