Overview: <p>For positions that have only a rate listed, the displayed rate is the hiring rate but could be subject to change based on shift differential, experience, education or other relevant factors.&nbsp;<br /><br /></p> <p><strong>FTE: .6 </strong></p> <p><strong>**This is a varied shift position.</strong></p>
Responsibilities: Works under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist and performs a variety of routine duties and advanced technical duties related to preparing and dispensing drugs in accordance with standard procedures.
Requirements: <ul> <li>High School graduate or equivalent Required.</li> <li>Previous pharmacy technician experience Preferred.</li> <li>Prior hospital experience Preferred.</li> <li>Ability to read, write and communicate in English.</li> <li>Current Certification from a Nationally Accredited Pharmacy Technician Certification Program (PTCB or NHA &ndash; ExCPT) Required.</li> <li>Current&nbsp;Licensure/Registration&nbsp;with the New York State Education Department, Office of Professions Required.</li> </ul>
